Fady Mansour is an associate with Bottos Law Group. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 2011 and completed his law degree at the University of Alberta in 2015. During law school, he volunteered with Student Legal Services, an organization which provides legal assistance to low income Edmontonians. During his second year of law school, he participated in the prestigious Gale Cup, Canada’s top criminal law appellate moot. He also interned with the Edmonton Provincial Court and the Edmonton Community Legal Centre.

Prior to joining Bottos Law Group, Fady clerked at the Edmonton Court of Queen’s Bench, where he worked closely with the Justices of the Court. This experience afforded him with an opportunity to observe the decision-making process first hand and to observe excellent trial and appellate advocacy. Fady completed his articles at Bottos Law Group under the mentorship of senior defence counsel, Mr. Dino Bottos.

Since his time at the firm, Fady has assisted in a wide variety of cases, including appeals at both the Court of Queen’s Bench and the Court of Appeal, as well as trials before both the Provincial Court and the Court of Queen’s Bench. Fady is also member of the Gladue Committee, a panel committed to assisting Indigenous offenders in the sentencing process.

In his free time, Fady is an avid target shooter and hunter and as such, he has a strong interest in firearms law as well as offences arising from the Wild Life Act. Fady’s personal knowledge of a wide variety of firearms and hunting experience assists him in defending individuals charged with these offences.

Fady understands that being charged with a criminal offence is an extremely stressful experience and is eager to help you navigate the daunting legal process. Fady is happy to provide a free initial consultation over the phone or in person.

Fady is fluent in both English and Arabic and is able to assist clients in either language.
